Commercial Litigation Associate - Junior to Mid-Level - New York City
The New York office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks to hire a junior or mid-level commercial litigation associate attorney with at least two years of experience; large law firm or established boutique experience is required. The primary requirement is a keen desire to develop commercial litigation skills and practice. The candidate should have experience in commercial litigation pending in state and federal court or arbitration. Excellent training, development, and opportunities for substantive responsibilities will be available to the selected candidate who exhibits desire to succeed in broad-based, collaborative commercial litigation practice in a growing group. Department handles a wide range of disputes, including breach of contract, tortious interference, fraud, unfair competition and antitrust, misappropriation of trade secrets, intellectual property, debtor and creditor rights, breach of fiduciary duties, and other business torts.
Requirements also include stellar writing ability, developing oral advocacy skills, strong references, and active membership in good standing of the New York State Bar. Clerkship experience is considered.
