Davis Wright Tremaine LLP has an exciting associate opportunity in its nationally-recognized Tax-Exempt Organizations Group. We are seeking a junior to mid-level associate attorney with at least two years of law firm experience, strong research and writing skills and excellent academic credentials to join our nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations group, representing some of the country’s leading philanthropists, foundations, cultural institutions, environmental groups, universities, advocacy organizations and hospitals. A strong federal tax background with at least some exposure to tax-exempt organizations is preferred. The group is collegial, fast-paced, and provides excellent opportunities for professional development and promotion. The position may be in Seattle, Portland or San Francisco, depending on the candidate’s preference and circumstances.
We are relentlessly committed to client service and look for candidates who share that commitment. At DWT, client service means having empathy for each client’s and each lawyer’s work and personal pressures, business objectives, and legal needs; anticipating their needs; and having the capabilities and commitment to deliver what matters most to them.
